GOOD FOR THE SOUL
Globally, humans buy over 1 million plastic bottles per minute and 91% of all this plastic is not recycled.
In the UK alone, over 2.5 billion takeaway coffee cups are used and disposed of every day, and unfortunately, as the interior of these cups are coated with a film of polyethylene plastic glue, they are not recyclable and release methane gas when sent to landfill.
We designed SoL to help people move away from this throwaway mindset to a more environmentally supportive one, so we can all be kind to the world around us. SoL products are portable, beautiful, a pleasure to drink from and infinitely reusable.

MATERIALS WE USE
Sol’s hand-blown glass
Sol chooses hand-blown glass for its sleek and sexy design, its premium, lightweight quality, its made from naturally abundant materials – namely sand – and is far less permeable than plastics. This means your SoL glass won’t absorb residual tastes, odours or germs, and won’t leach chemicals (known to be endocrine disruptors in the body) into your beverage.
As a result, SoL offers purity of taste. Your drink is fresher and cleaner, and you’ll have zero concerns for your health. SoL is strong, lightweight, plastic free, as well as being microwave and dishwasher safe.
SoL signature sleeve
Our thermal silicone sleeves aren’t just there to protect your fingers, they also personalise your SoL. The sleeves are food-grade quality and BPA-free, just like our glass, so they’re non-toxic and come in a range of distinctive colours to suit your personality – they keep your fingers cool, your look sharp, and your planet plastic free.
SoL Cups, founded by Rebecca Veksler was born from a desire to make a reusable cup that is plastic free and won’t compromise your health.
After a life changing year, overcoming autoimmune disease and health obstacles, Rebecca delved into in-depth research about the harmful impact the use of plastics has on the human body and environment.
Rebecca took her passion for inspiring and empowering people, and her love for business to create a product that she truly believed in, launching Sol Cups on a mission to share this knowledge of health and wellbeing with as many people as
A journey of personal health and a desire to make the world a cleaner and greener place, SoL cups are designed to work with your drink, with your body and with the environment.
At SoL, sustainability is at the core of our business, from the materials we choose to the projects we engage in to give back to our SoL community.
Silicone recycling initiative
All our materials are specifically chosen for being high quality, chemical free, made from recycled materials with minimal environmental impact, that in turn can be recycled at their end of life.
In some locations we understand local councils do not provide a recycling service for silicone which is why we recycle our products with TerraCycle via their Zero Waste Box system.
If you have a silicone piece that needs to be disposed, please send it back to us at the below address for it to be properly recycled and given a second life.

Partnership with Reforest Now
SoL has partnered with reforestation charity ReForest Now to donate £1 from every sale to plant trees - transforming cleared land back to rainforest, supporting endangered species and encouraging rich ecosystems.
Planting trees is also a direct climate action. Every tree planted sequesters CO2 from the air to combat this global issue and offsets any carbon emissions produced via the production and transportation of our goods.
Every time you purchase a SoL product from our website, you are directly supporting this initiative to plant trees – increasing the biodiversity of plant and animal life and combatting climate change.
Thanks for being a #solmate.
